Go Ahead, Be Thankful

The Coolsisters were coming home late the other night. It was cold and clear and no traffic anywhere in the 'hood save a lone truck from the local water authority that had stopped to open up a fire hydrant and let it rip. We drove a few blocks but quickly turned around, went back, lept out, and took a few snaps that illustrate an often repeat axiom - you can't drink from a fire hydrant. The overload will either drench you or knock you down or both. The world seems full of open fire hydrants lately but we are going to try and shut a few down, at least for one day, and savor our blessings, one glass at a time.
